![]() I believe there's no secret to success. There's so many opportunities available, one just has to take a risk and be willing to work hard and smart. I have different ways of prospecting and working and yes, making phone calls still exists and I find it to be very effective. As I mentioned in my "About Me" section on my website: www.coachnilo.com, there's nothing new that I can say that's not out there and hasn't been done or said. So instead of me giving advice or trying to tell people what to do, I'm just saying and documenting what I'm doing on my journey to become a millionaire. Follow me on my journey and if you're interested in getting fit, healthier, losing weight or making an extra income, give me a call! See you next time. #coachnilo ![]() So it's the first week of the New Year! Are you still excited for the New Year? Or are you one of the many who started the year and there's no difference from your previous years? Most people fall into the latter category where they just live a life day by day and have no clue what to do or where to get started to make changes to better their lives and live more exciting and fulfilling lives. Here's where I would get stuck in the past... "What do I want?" and "Why do I want it?" We've always been told to set clear and specific goals, right? Well, I still believe this to be true, but sometimes it's hard to define exactly what you want because of different reasons, but that's another topic. So, because we don't set specific goals, we don't know what to do, or how to do it or how to get started. Does this sound familiar? Well, what if you could get started without a specific goal? If you just had an idea of what you wanted but not exactly sure what. For example, you want to lose weight, but you don't know how much, but you know what you want to look like. Or you want a six pack, but you don't know how long it's going to take you. Or you want to make a lot of money to become financially free, but you don't know how much. You get the picture. So again, a friend on Facebook, (Robbie Hendricks), posted a great read from Entrepreneur.com and I thought to myself, this is awesome! It's something I learned a few years back, but I never saw it this way. The way it's explained is just so clear, that it makes everything so simple. It makes it so clear on how to live in the moment, enjoy the journey and not have to stress about your goals. It's a good read. Short and to the point. I hope you enjoy it. Forget Setting Goals. Focus On This Instead. ![]() Today I was going to write about some of my plans that I have for 2014, but I read this article from a post on one of my friend's on Facebook and thought that it was a good idea to re-post. Many times we set goals and want things, but without realizing the people we hang around with keep us from achieving the success we want. This was an important lesson for me in 2013. Luckily, my team and some new people I am now associating with opened up my eyes. It was a tough decision I had to make in 2013. Changing the people I was hanging around with and doing business with was not easy. There's feelings, emotions, a kind of comfort because I had been around certain people for such a long time, but at the same time a discomfort because I wasn't progressing and almost felt like I was regressing. I was lucky to have some awesome people on my team, a couple of great friends and a wife who can really set me straight. Making the change became easy when I realized where I was... and as they say... seek and you shall find. A great friend introduced me to some great people who have the same priorities and similar values to mine. Because of this, 2013 ended with momentum and now my plan, and the system that we put together for 2014 is simple to follow because the feelings and emotions of guilt, remorse, and frustration disappeared when I changed the people I started hanging around with. This article that I read really puts things into perspective and it's what has allowed me to move on with my big plans for 2014. I hope it helps.
